Bloc Party to headline Intonation Music Festival
This year’s Intonation Music Festival will take place on June 24th and 25th at Chicago’s beautiful Union Park. Bloc Party have been confirmed as headliners on the second day of the festival, with The Streets topping the bill on the first day.
Featuring 20+ bands on alternating stages, the IMF 2006 will be curated by VICE Records, Bloc Party's record label in the U.S.
Tickets will be $20 for a one-day pass and $35 for a two-day pass. A limited number of two-day passes will go on sale Monday 13th March at 12pm CST through www.intonationmusicfest.com for the special price of $25.
The IMF 2005, curated by Pitchforkmedia.com, was a huge success, packing Union Park with 30,000 concertgoers over two days and receiving glowing accolades in the New York Times, Billboard, Rolling Stone, Spin, Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune and scores of other publications.
