The rest of us can keep track of goings-on at the festival in a number of ways. Radio 1 will come live from the site over the weekend with live sets, interviews and acoustic performances.
From 19:00 on Saturday and Sunday night you'll be able to see all the action from both stages on digital TV. If you have digital satellite, digital cable or Freeview you'll be able to press red from any BBC TV channel and see the show. Also on Saturday and Sunday night, BBC Three will be broadcasting two hours of highlights from each day.
You'll also be able to get full coverage of Radio 1's Big Weekend online. There will be live streaming of the action in broadband video from 19:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
Finally, big screens in selected cities around the U.K. will be showing live footage from the event. Click here for more info.
There doesn't appear to be any information yet on which bands will feature on the various programmes. However, rest assured that if any bootlegs surface of Bloc Party's performance they'll be put on BLOG PARTY quicker than you can say '"Och ay the noo"!
