'The Prayer' video

Watch the brand new video for 'The Prayer' over on the BBC Radio 1 website now! Shot at Café 1001 in Shoreditch, East London, this is Walter Stern's first video in several years. He's previously directed seminal promos for The Verve's 'Bittersweet Symphony', Massive Attack's 'Teardrop' and The Prodigy's 'Breathe'.

So does it meet Walter Stern's usual high standard? That girl swallowing the guy's face is a bit freaky...

Great song, good video. This new CD is gonna be hot. I can't wait back til they come back to the US (Hopefully not opening for some band that should be opening for THEM). Kinda bummed we dont get to see Russell playing that "unplayable guitar solo" though, oh well, still a more than decent video

Had the album for a while now (and yes a have also pre ordered it!) and it is immense, the video really wasnt what i expected but it fits with the dark gritty feel of the song, Love it!

good stuff a bit weird at first and its a shame they mainly focused on kele and not the whole band but great effects used.

lol but didnt they all look a bit stoned. Kele especially. Or just plain tiredness. I can never tell.

but dont dishearten me, that was not a complaint...

big fan of this song but not so much this video, i pictured them in a bright white room getting twated with black paint or something, more emphasis on the song is needed.
