  Maida Vale Studios, 30.01.07
-
At the end of January, Bloc Party played a very special gig for BBC Radio 1 at London's Maida Vale Studios in front of a select group of lucky competition winners. Unfortunately, 'Sunday' was cut halfway through and 'Waiting For The 7.18' went a bit pear-shaped, but apart from that this is a really good quality recording. Enjoy!

02. Hunting For Witches
03. Positive Tension

05. Waiting For The 7.18
06. The Prayer
07. This Modern Love
08. I Still Remember
09. Like Eating Glass
10. Two More Years
11. Sunday (well, Sunday morning anyway)

Two mOre Years and I Still Remember are awsome

how did waiting go pear-shaped?

one of the tremolo guitar parts at the end was played at the wrong place on the fretboard I think, unless I imagined it!

Yeah was played too low on the fret board at one point

Still a decent effort. Just get the feeling they cut it off at the end. Remember that they had 2 go to the radio 1 news. Wonder what they were gonna play. Im guessing So Here We Are and Helicopter. 2 classics that are missing. For me theyre Coachella is still the best set they did.

this is pretty cool, thanks for posting this =D
