Bloc Party Go Super-size!

Tickets will be available in a pre-sale to paid members of Marshals (Pioneers) from Thursday 26th April at 9:30am and go on general sale on Friday 27th April at 9:30am.
So, Bloc Party have moved up to enormodome status! How will they fare in the land of extortionately priced beer and dubious acoustics? Will they emerge from a giant inflatable fruit of some kind? Several thousand people singing along to the chorus of 'The Prayer' is sure to be a bit of an experience anyway...
Bloc Party have just announced three end-of-year arena shows, starting at Glasgow SECC on December 12th. These will apparently be the band's only other UK headline dates this year, so get booking!

last album's winter marshall's tour replaced with winter arena tours this album. looks like bloc party have changed their priorities. i love the band, and i'm sure this will benefit them but for the fans, this sucks.
They didn't do a marshals tour for the last album. They did a single marshals show at the end of the year after they toured.
Fingers crossed they still do one.

Dan - you're mistaken. There was a Marshals tour, I was at the Manchester leg.
People need to accept Bloc Party are growing in popularity and arena gigs were always inevitable. I think theres the scenester element involved in this, it's as if people are going off Bloc Party for being popular. They haven't sold out and anybody who thinks that is being too reactionary and possessive.
