Pin Me Down...Russell's side-project revealed!
After Kele's forays into dance with the Chemical Brothers and Gordy's stint with Yourcodenameis:Milo, it's now Russell's turn to make some music outside of the Bloc Party bubble. Russell 'guitar hero' Lissack is one half of the apocalyptic dance-rock project, Pin Me Down, along with Milena Mepris, a 23-year-old rock singer and guitarist from New York City (read her biog here).

There's no news on any official releases yet, but you can listen to their first track, 'Cryptic', on Myspace now!

Pretty rockin'. I was hoping it would be much more electronic than this, and you can defintely recognise Russell's sound. Good stuff though.

really like the guitar riff (how couldn't I?) but her voice is not that suitable imo.
