'Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles'...out tomorrow
'Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles', a mix album put together by Steve Aoki (founder of Bloc Party's first US record label, Dim Mak), is out tomorrow in the States on Thrive Records. It features the 'Weird Science Remix' of 'Helicopter' (feat. Peaches) amongst other tracks by the likes of Justice, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Klaxons, and lots more. In other Bloc news...well, there isn't really any at the moment! Suffice to say, the guys are currently holed up somewhere on Planet Earth, discussing what album #3 is going to sound like.
In the meantime, 'Flux' is still in the UK singles charts (hanging on at #40 in its tenth week), Pin Me Down's Milena continues to post highly entertaining bulletins on the PMD blog (look out for a 'Cryptic' single release sometime in March!), and Russell judges a vegetarian T-shirt competition for PETA (only herbivorous garments allowed to enter?). Rest assured, BlocParty.net will bring you third album news as and when it happens!
