Bloc Party's summer tour kicks off today!
Bloc Party's first tour since last December kicks off at Japan's Fuji Rock Festival today, before hopping it over to the US & Canada for a lengthy run of shows, interspersed with some European festivals. Click here for the full list of dates.
So will Bloc Party preview any material from their forthcoming third album? Will then even attempt to play 'Mercury' live? And how will the rhythm department fare without Gordy, who'll be teaching rock moves to a mini-Moakes back in the UK? All will be revealed...

I wish I could see them at Lallapalooza as I am very close to Chicago. Tickets are too expensive though!
saw em at glasshouse and mayan amazing shows. got to hear the once and the future king, price of gas, mercury. kele is a fucking genious

I was at the show in Los Angeles and it was awesome. They did the songs mercury and flux with guitars in the background. For mercury they replaced the horn with guitars. They also did a new song which is a remake of a classic prince song. These guys r def still my fav band.
