I'm interested if he was lying about the next album of being the last.
Does anyone know what the record deal is, as in the amount of albums they agreed to make? Would the next full album fill the deal?

I think the line when Kele said "Shut the f*ck up" was great. Although I do listen to "other British guitar bands," he makes a good point about them.

I love what he said about each member getting an album - completely taking the piss out of everyone who's said AWITC and Intimacy are just Kele.

"Everyone gets their own album" No way would Kele wait like 5 years to have anything to say about the records.

He did warn the girl that he'd be lying. Very british humour, heh. He's so great and funny. In any case I don't think anyone should be worried - Kele always says smth different every interview and I doubt they'd plan a break up several years ahead.

Love Kele in interviews. Brutal truth, served with a proper dosage of sarcasm. People says he's arrogant, but I think he just speaks his mind. Great to see some honesty and 'real' answers for once, instead of the same routine answers every time.

He's taking the interviewer for a ride. The records are a clear natural progression... in any case, apart from Silent Alarm (which arguably is Gordy's, since he co-wrote a lot of the lyrics), Kele has had unchallenged monopoly over the lyrics, so it's not like he's irrelevent to these three albums. However, he's spoken before about not wanting to spend the rest of his life as Bloc Party. I don't think he'll split after the next one though.

you guys are retarded, hes obviously lying through his teeth. hes been doing that a lot in interviews, that said intimacy is the last record for their record detail apparently so who knows what the future has in store
