According to the latest issue of NME, Bloc Party are currently writing a new song called 'Hero' which should be
released in October. Kele described it as sounding somewhere between 'How Soon is Now' and 'Mo Money Mo
Problems' and said it's about recognising that you can be really courageous by doing a nine-to-five job.

'The Pioneers' will be released on limited numbered CD and 7" vinyl on 18.07.05 and deleted on the day of

Cribs.
In the USA, the band have sold out two nights at New York's 2000 capacity Webster Hall in 48 hours! They have
also been confirmed to play at this year's KROQ Weenie Roast (21.05.05) and to appear on
the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' show on 23.05.05.
