US mini-tour announced!

Bloc Party will be returning to the States again this summer for a series of shows scattered around their August Lollapalooza appearance. Here's the full list of dates:

28.07.08 Pomona, CA - The Glass House

29.07.08 Los Angeles, CA - Mayan Theater

30.07.08 San Francisco, CA - The Fillmore

01.08.08 Chicago, IL - Lollapalooza

05.08.08 Philadelphia, PA - The Fillmore at the TLA

06.08.08 New York City, NY - Webster Hall

07.08.08 New York City, NY - Webster Hall

09.08.08 Baltimore, MD - Virgin Mobile Festival

Tickets will go on sale at the beginning of May from here, though members of Marshals will be able to buy tickets from April 29th (today!).

New US tour date...

According to Ticketmaster, Bloc Party will be making a stop in Los Angeles this summer...playing at the Mayan Theater on Tuesday July 29th. Tickets are $26.00, onsale from Saturday May 3rd. Check out all Bloc Party's announced summer dates here.

Pin Me Down update

Whilst Bloc Party are still being busy little studio bees, Pin Me Down have announced more news, including further details of their upcoming 'Cryptic' single release and their first ever live shows! 'Cryptic' will now be released on June 2nd in Europe, preceded by an iTunes UK digital exclusive version of the single on May 19th and a 12" vinyl release on 26th May. Here're the tracklistings announced so far...

Teenage Cancer Trust DVD...out now!

In March 2006, Bloc Party were invited to play as part of a Teenage Cancer Trust concert at the Royal Albert Hall (read BLOG PARTY's report of the gig). This week, the TCT release a DVD compiling the best bits of their concerts over the years, including a performance of 'Like Eating Glass' by Bloc Party.
