Bloc Party to perform on 'Later' tomorrow night
Bloc Party will be performing on 'Later...with Jools Holland' tomorrow (Friday 25th May) alongside LCD Soundsystem, Wilco and Joan Armatrading. This goes out on BBC2 at 11:35pm, but check back for some YouTube action if you live outside the UK. Here's a video interview with Kele and Matt recorded in the Later... studios.
The band also appeared on this show way back in November 2004 - making their first television performance in front of an audience largely oblivious to the joys of Bloc Party. Read a pre-show interview here, and watch their fresh-faced performances of 'Helicopter' and 'Like Eating Glass':

'SRXT' soundtracks Grey's Anatomy
From Bloc Party's Myspace...
As much as we might not want to admit it, getting on Grey's Anatomy is a pretty big deal. And not only are Bloc Party going to be on the show today, Thursday May 3rd, but 'SRXT' basically soundtracks the last 6 minutes of the show. Take that and smoke it.
As long as you've got the TiVo working overtime today, might as well switch it on for Carson Daly's Outdoor Concert Series where Bloc Party will be performing another choice cut off 'A Weekend In The City'. It's been a while since we've been so enamoured with our TVs.

Free tickets for 'Last Call with Carson Daly'
Bloc Party will be performing on 'Last Call with Carson Daly', a US chat show, on Wednesday March 21st. 1ota.com is offering tickets to the show, so if you live in the Burbank, CA area (or are prepared to travel) get your hands on some free tickets!
Also, Bloc Party's set at last year's Coachella has been nominated for 'Best Musical Festival Performance' in The Festies, the US Music Festival awards. Vote here (you have to sign up first) and download the full performance here to find out what all the fuss is about.

Channel 4 takeover bid
Bloc Party have teamed up with Channel 4 to host a week of exclusive track performances. '4Music Presents Bloc Party' is to be aired on Sunday 4th February and will see the band showcasing new tracks from 'A Weekend In The City'.
In the week prior to the 4Music Presents special (Sunday 28th January - Thursday February 1st), Channel 4 will also show an exclusive performance of one track per day from 'AWITC'. Viewers will be asked to choose which of the five songs is their favourite and this will determine the playlist for Sunday's programme. The most popular Bloc Party song will be announced on T4 (Saturday January 3rd). Keep up at the back!
The special will be presented by Miquita Oliver and as well as playing four new tracks from their new album, Bloc Party will also give an exclusive performance of one of their old hits. Phew. Anyone for a garibaldi?
